Panoramic circular route Wartturm

The circular hiking trail leads mostly along unsurfaced paths around the Wingertsberg. It offers you a picturesque view of the Zellertal valley and the highest mountain in the Palatinate, the Donnersberg.

View up to the Wartturm

Along the vineyards with their countless vines, the trail leads high up to the Wartturm tower. From there, you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the Zellertal valley. On clear days, you can even see as far as the Odenwald. The Wartturm is a round tower whose irregular masonry was built from the limestone of the surrounding area. It was once used to keep watch over the safety of the citizens of Albisheim.

Picnic facilities are available along the trail and at the Wartturm for a leisurely break. There are also hiking loungers where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature to the full.

Further information about the hiking trail can be found in the flyer: Flyer Panoramarundweg Wartturm
