Gugg e Mol" sniffer trail

Tracker trail "Gugg e mol"

There are eight stations along the way that children can discover with the bee mascots Paul, Rosa and Fritzi. The bees show the different habitats in nature and have exciting information about animals and plants. Along the way, children learn in a child-friendly way how they can protect nature themselves so that people, as well as animals and plants, will have a species-rich environment to live in and discover for many, many years to come.

Why was this children's discovery trail created?

The issues of the climate crisis and species extinction are omnipresent. We read, see and hear every day how the climate crisis is affecting our future and how biodiversity is declining. Our children and future generations in particular will grow up and live with the effects. That's why the children from the kindergarten in Albisheim, pupils from the Zellertal School, clubs, associations and businesses have been thinking about how to raise children's awareness of the issues of species conservation, environmental protection and sustainability. Together, eight boards were designed with the aim of teaching children about the need to be mindful of our environment and the importance of nature conservation in an easily understandable way.

The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

Picnic on the Wartturm

The "Gugg e mol" trail ends at the Wartturm. Here you have the opportunity to have a picnic and the children can discover the area around the tower.
