Electronic residence registration
Online re-registration!
Electronic residence registration now also available at the Leiningerland association municipality
Newly moved here or found a new home within the municipality? If you move, you must re-register within two weeks - this can now also be done online in the municipality of Göllheim. The service is a convenient and flexible alternative to going to the authorities and simplifies the formalities after the move. Simply register online at www.wohnsitzanmeldung.de! From changing your address in the residents' register to updating your ID card or passport - the entire process is fully digitalized.
This requires a smartphone with the ID card app and an ID card with the online ID function activated. Anyone who has not yet activated it should take the opportunity to do so. This will save you further administrative procedures in future, which are already offered online.
For rented apartments, the landlord's confirmation of residence can be uploaded at the same time. As soon as the application has been approved by the responsible authority, you will receive a message about how to proceed. Among other things, the stickers for your ID card and passport will be sent to you.
Everything you need for this:
- ID card with activated eID function
- The ID card app
- An official user account such as the BundID

Background information
The electronic residence registration system was developed by the City of Hamburg on a one-for-all basis and made available to administrations throughout Germany for shared use. It is constantly being expanded and made available to more and more groups of people. The municipality of Göllheim has adapted the service and linked it to the electronic system of the residents' registration office so that all applications can be processed directly in digital form.
