Arbitration Office
The office of the arbitrator and his deputy can be reached by telephone daily from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.. There are no fixed office hours. If necessary, you can make a personal appointment.
The arbitration district covers the entire area of the municipality of Göllheim.
The arbitrator is responsible for settling disputes in the following matters:
in disputes about claims arising from neighborhood law matters, provided that it is not a matter of interference from a commercial enterprise, and in disputes about claims due to violations of personal honor that have not been committed in the press or on the radio.
In the aforementioned matters, the filing of a lawsuit in court is only permissible under the State Arbitration Act after an attempt has been made by a conciliation body (e.g. arbitration office) to settle the dispute amicably.
The activity of the arbitrator does not apply to
- Actions under Sections 323, 324 and 328 of the Code of Civil Procedure, counterclaims and actions to be brought within a statutory or court-ordered time limit,
- Disputes in family cases,
- Retrial,
- Claims asserted in proceedings for documentary evidence or bills of exchange,
- the conduct of the contentious proceedings if a claim has been asserted in the order for payment procedure,
- Actions for enforcement measures, in particular under Book 8 of the Code of Civil Procedure,
- applications pursuant to Section 404 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and
- Actions for which mandatory preliminary proceedings are ordered under other statutory provisions.
The arbitrator shall also be responsible for conducting an attempt at reconciliation in the criminal cases mentioned below:
- Trespass
- Offense
- Violation of the secrecy of correspondence
- Assault
- Threat and
- Damage to property
